The Hype: It’s a new Disney Pixar movie so you know it is going to be good. Trailers were out early and they looked fantastic. The cast was also a big selling point.

What I Thought: Absolutely brilliant! Loved every minute of it. There is a great story and although it contradicts itself a little, aimed at kids, that’s not a huge deal. The animation is some of the best I have seen, particularly the slow motion shots of which there a few. With a very good score that sets the mood of scenes perfectly, I couldn’t really see anything wrong with this movie. My 3 year old loved it and was able to follow the story with no problem, and got involved with the movie. There are some great comedic moments in the movie also that appeal to the older folks in the audience.

Conclusions: It’s yet another success for Disney Pixar and I recommend this movie to any fans of their previous films, old and young. Good story, funny, superbly made and well worth the cinema fee.
